If you have a well on your property, you are responsible for it.
That responsibility also means that as a well owner you are responsible for ensuring that any contractor you hire to work on your well is properly licensed.
Well contractors must:

Licensed contractors are required to use licensed well technicians who have the proper class of license to conduct or supervise any work being done on your well.
